Local Hope, also known as Xela AID Partnerships for Self-Reliance, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and communities in Guatemala become healthy, educated, and self-reliant. Founded in 1993, the organization works alongside local communities to develop sustainable solutions that address health, education, economic development, and social needs.

Its programs include community healthcare, clean water initiatives, education and literacy, youth leadership, job readiness, small business development, and support for vulnerable families. Local Hope also offers volunteer service and cultural exchange programs, giving individuals and groups opportunities to contribute to community projects while experiencing Mayan culture in the Guatemalan Highlands.
